A new frontier

As I sit down to write this words many ideas come to mind. Recently I have been in leadership workshops, have read some new books and I have been getting information from experts in subjects such as the behavior of the labor market, the state of companies, technology and global economy. Many coincide that we are living and age of many changes, the scene has changed in many ways, keeps changing and fast!

So fast are changes taking place that know I realize that I haven't had the courtesy of greeting you dear reader: Hello, I hope your doing great and you find these words positive, supportive in your well being and in your life.

And we wonder: How all of this that's happening is affecting me? Well it is affecting you in multiple ways, it may actually already be affecting you and probably didn't realize this. The  model of "go to school, become a a professional, get a good job, marry, get a house on a mortgage, have kids and keep that way until you pay your house at old age" or it was a lie of it has expired.

Turns out that the new model is: get financial and emotional education. Find your passion, find a way to monetize it and do that. Network, connect, keep yourself in motion, learn how to share your vision. Develop multiple sources of income that work for you. Use available technology to ease all your tasks. Be daring, try things, make mistakes and learn, that way you will acquire experience and become wiser. Generate flows of cash that go in your bank account, don't commit to debt, commit to having income. Share what you learn with your children and everyone around you. Take responsibility to improve society, because even governments are having a tough time!

It's risky, scary, depends in large part of you and me what the present and the near future may become with the actions that we do everyday, today, not tomorrow or next month: today. Everything that's written here requires a change of our mindsets and our attitude, taking responsibility and control of our minds, emotions and actions; generating a better version of ourselves to take advantage of every available opportunity because the old set of rules doesn't work for this new game.
